DOUG PEDERSEN is a leading business executive and entrepreneur who demonstrates the pursuit of excellence while in service to others. Under his leadership, Careers In Nonprofits (a privately held talent acquisition and staffing firm) has consistently performed at world-class levels by earning the Best of Staffing Client & Talent Award for 6 consecutive years--a designation reserved for the top 2% of American Staffing Firms. Over 1,000 students have attended his CNP Academy, GROWTHtrack, and industry trade/sector workshops—and several thousand more have been in the audience of his speaking engagements, webinars, and teleconferences. He is the author of “TUNA BREATH” and creator of the innovative Staffing Accelerator Group.

STAFFING ACCELERATOR GROUP is a mentoring program operated by Freedom House Media that helps new, established, and veteran agency recruiters uplevel their growth to significantly increase income, longevity, and their impact on others. 

Doug joined the CNP team full-time as Vice President in 2008 after managing several regional sales pipelines for Morgan Stanley and Hewlett-Packard Company. Doug’s background also includes leadership positions at Putnam Lovell NBF (a boutique investment bank) and the U.S. Marine Corps. Doug is a writer and trainer. In his spare time, he can usually be found at his kids sporting events or you'll find him competing in a Spartan Race.
